Come to Newman Dinner at 6 pm and Alpha Omega at 7 pm this Thursday on the fifth floor of St. Paul’s to enjoy some delicious spaghetti and meatballs and hear a talk on friendship and trust by Ann Riley! Here is a little more about her: My name is Ann Riley. I’m married to an incredible man named Jake, we have two daughters, Evelyn (5.5 y/o and Clare 2.5 y/o). We’re due in March with our first little man. Woot woot! I’m a MN native and graduated from the University of Minnesota with a bachelors of science in nutrition. I went through RCIA my sophomore year of college and have not stopped falling in love with the Church. Professionally, I’ve worked as a nutrition coach the last seven years, but believe heavily in balance and still love a salty margarita (when I’m not pregnant ;)) with loaded nachos. We’ve lived in the Madison area the last three years and currently are parishioners at St Christopher’s in Verona.

Looking for some frightfully good Halloween fun this Thursday? Look no further than St. Paul’s Alpha Omega! This Thursday, Alpha Omega and Mustard Seed are coming together welcome world-renowned magician and illusionist, Giancarlo Bernini, to the St. Paul’s stage! Giancarlo has performed on the show “Penn and Teller: Fool Us”, and also has his own TV show, “Beyond Illusion.” Come to Newman dinner at 6:00 on the fifth floor of St. Paul’s to enjoy a spooky meal, and then stay for the magician at 7:00! Costumes are highly encouraged, and a prize will be given out to the best costume!

Introducing our speaker for tomorrow’s Alpha Omega, Fr. Greg Ihm! He is a farm boy that became a priest, a brother to six siblings, and a father to many seminarians. Fr. Ihm has been assigned to Camp Grey, Waunakee, MC, and now to vocations. His greatest joy is being a priest! — Come out to Newman dinner and Alpha Omega tomorrow to eat some delicious polish food and hear Fr. Ihm’s great talk on adventure!
